About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified and experienced industry professional to become part of our Community Services teaching team on a part-time ongoing basis. The role involves teaching students in various Community Services qualifications both face to face and online. Your responsibilities will include offering support and guidance to students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for a successful career in the Community Services sector. The primary responsibility of a teacher involves delivering high quality training and assessment, creating educational resources, and handling administrative tasks associated with course delivery including assessment marking.
At TAFE Gippsland the role of the Teacher is to
* Share knowledge and experience in your specialist area;
* Manage the learning process to enable students to achieve their best;
* Develop and deliver relevant and industry current course material;
* Ensure that their own professional teaching and vocational competence and currency is kept up to date along with licensing requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent (mandatory)
* Relevant vocational qualification to the level of teaching/assessing
* Extensive relevant industry experience
* Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
* Current Police check (not older than 12 months)
* Driver's License
A six-month probationary period applies to this role
