Support Worker Job Description
We are seeking skilled Support Workers to join our team in providing person-centred care and support to seniors, adults living with a disability, and adults recovering from a hospital stay.
Key Responsibilities:
* Domestic Assistance: Assist with light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
* Social Support / Transportation: Accompany customers to social activities, shopping, and medical appointments.
* Supporting Customers: Assist customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
* Well-being Monitoring: Monitor the well-being of customers and report on their progress.
* Collaboration and Training: Participate in staff meetings and attend training as required.
* Supervision: Perform work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator.
Services typically take place between 6am-6pm, Monday to Friday.
