We're opening soon – and we need cooks to join our brand-new team at Char Char Chicken You'll be part of an exciting new food concept, serving up charcoal chicken, burgers, wraps, gourmet salads and sides. If you love working with fresh food in a busy kitchen, this is the job for you.
Located at Watagan Park Town Centre in Cooranbong, this brand-new venue sits near the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie — just a short drive from both Newcastle and the Central Coast. It's an easy commute and a chance to work in a stunning lifestyle location close to home.
About the Role
* Prep and cook burgers, wraps, and gourmet salads
* Assist with chicken preparation (charcoal, rotisserie, and fried)
* Keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly
* Follow food safety standards at all times
* Work as part of a team to get food out fast, fresh and consistent
About You
* Previous experience cooking in a busy takeaway, café, or restaurant kitchen
* Confident with prep work and cooking on the line
* Reliable, hardworking, and able to handle a fast-paced environment
* Available to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends
* Must have own transport and be eligible to work in Australia
