Job Title: Depot Site Operations Manager
Leading Operations in a Dynamic Environment
About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading operations from our depot site. Your primary objective will be to work closely with support teams, fleet maintenance, and senior management to ensure efficient network performance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain linehaul receivals, unloads, and freight coordination for last-mile delivery
* Oversee morning sort processes, scanning accuracy, route planning, and driver dispatch
* Lead compliance initiatives (WHS, CoR, NHVR), including toolbox talks and training sessions
* Monitor rosters, site KPIs (DIFOT, scan compliance, cost-per-drop), investigations, and follow-ups
* BUILD and maintain strong customer relationships, service recovery, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
* Demonstrated leadership experience in transport, parcel, courier, or logistics operations
* A hands-on approach to leading teams with a focus on people development
* Strong knowledge of last-mile delivery, route planning, and driver coordination
* Familiarity with CoR, NHVR, WHS, and freight handling requirements
* Proficiency in transport systems, scanning technology, and operational reporting
* A current MR/HR license is required
* A valid forklift license is also mandatory
