HammondCare At Home is expanding its services and seeking several permanent part-time Specialised Carers to support clients across the Port Macquarie and surrounding suburbs. The areas include Trumster, Kew, Dunbogan, Laurieton, North Haven, Wauchope, Coopernook, King Creek, Redbank, Taree, Bulahdelah, Stroud, Kempsey, Hawks Nest, and Tea Gardens.
Our specialised carers receive a work mobile phone, paid travel time, and kilometres. We offer flexible days and times, with weekend loading available if you choose to work weekends.
About the role
This role involves providing essential, practical care to help older people live independently at home, directly improving their quality of life. You will travel to clients' homes using your own vehicle, for which you will be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time.
The care tasks may include:
1. Providing personal care, such as assisting with showering and dressing
2. Helping around the home, including meal preparation and light cleaning
3. Transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping
4. Assisting with medication management
About you
- You are patient, compassionate, and solutions-focused.
- You may have previous experience in aged or community care or be looking to start your career in aged care.
- You hold a valid Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable, insured vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance).
- Ideally, you will have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If not, we can help you obtain this qualification.
- You are flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of home care clients.

- Hourly rate of $30.42 to $33.15, plus $0.99/km, paid travel time, and a mobile phone
