Job Description
The Hotel Duty Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service standards at the resort. This hands-on position is responsible for assisting in the daily management of staff and resources across the Front Office department.
You will be responsible for:
* Ensuring service standards of all Front Office staff are professional, helpful, and in line with the resort's vision and goals at all times.
* Ensuring the highest possible standards in room inventory management and sales.
* Coordinating and supervising all guest arrivals and departures.
* In conjunction with the Front Office Manager, providing training and mentoring of department staff.
* Dealing with guest complaints and issues and ensuring a prompt resolution.
* Performing Night Audit duties when required.
* Managing the department in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
Key Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have front office supervisory experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel or resort, excellent organisational, time management, and computer literacy skills.
