Job Title: Risk and Business Continuity Team Member
This role is critical to the management of risks and business continuity across the operational science and technology command. The successful candidate will provide leadership to inspire a risk culture and ensure that activities align with enterprise frameworks.
The incumbent is accountable for managing ICT and forensics risks, conducting business continuity exercises and reviews, and ensuring compliance and governance activities. They will promote legislative and regulatory compliance, maintain critical business activity registers, and manage business continuity activities.
The position requires preparing the organization to manage disruptions, aligning business continuity and incident management activities, and coordinating responses. The successful candidate will also oversee quality information and advice to stakeholders.
The essential requirements include being an Australian citizen, having a Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one, qualifications in risk or business continuity management, and demonstrated success in a similar senior role.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work across levels and influence outcomes. Experience in capability upliftment through technology or process changes, knowledge of incident management, and strong reporting skills are desirable.
