We are seeking a motivated and capable Trainer & Assessor to join our team on a 2:1 FIFO roster roaming across various sites in WA. If you're passionate about developing people, supporting crews on the ground, and applying your practical machinery experience in a new way, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

About the Role
Roster: 2:1 FIFOLocation: Various project sites across Regional WA (Roaming position)Flights: FIFO ex Perth or GeraldtonEmployment: Full-Time Permanent
Key Responsibilities
* Complete formal VOCs (Verification of Competency) during the onboarding process of new mobile plant operators & truck drivers
* Mentor and coach developing or inexperienced operators
* Develop and maintain an annual training plan for mobile plant operators
* Provide pathways for operators to gain broader mobile plant experience
* Maintain accurate training records
* Keep mobile plant training materials and safe work instructions up to date
* Represent the HSE team on site and complete site inspections and other HSE related audits as time allows when on site
* Support supervisors and project managers with workforce training needs
* Contribute to a positive, proactive, and safe workplace culture
Skills & Experience
* Experience with heavy machinery in the civil construction industry
* A genuine desire to support and encourage operators
* Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills
* Confidence engaging with personnel at all levels
* A proactive approach and commitment to safe work practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to go away to various sites as required for short periods of time
Education, Licenses & Certifications
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (minimum requirement)
* HR Driver's License (minimum requirement)
* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (desirable)
* First Aid Certificate
* Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Cert III Civil Construction (highly regarded)
* National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
