Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support our clients across Albury, Yarrawonga, and Wodonga. The RN will play a key role in delivering clinical care, supporting daily health needs, training support staff, and ensuring compliance with NDIS and organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans and NDIS requirements.
- Conduct health assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage medication administration.
- Support clients with complex health conditions, including chronic illness, diabetes management, wound care, and mental health needs.
- Collaborate with families, support coordinators, allied health professionals, and the wider care team.
- Train and guide support workers in safe medication practices, infection control, and health-related tasks.
- Respond to incidents, review care plans, and escalate concerns where necessary.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
- Travel between Albury, Yarrawonga, and Wodonga to provide direct client support.
Essential Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 1 years of nursing experience (community nursing/NDIS experience desirable).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of NDIS framework and participant-focused care.
Desirable
- Experience working with clients with disabilities, mental health conditions, or complex needs.
- Training/mentoring experience for support staff.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs.
