Your new role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Lawyer or Associate with 2+ years PAE to join a well-established Dispute Resolution team in Canberra. You'll work alongside experienced senior lawyers on a wide range of government-focused litigation and dispute matters, including:
Class actions and complex civil claims
Regulatory and commercial litigation
Merits and judicial review
Investigations, royal commissions, and parliamentary enquiries
Strategic legal advice for government clients
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A minimum of 2 years post-admission experience
Proven experience in government litigation or disputes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and professional integrity
Eligibility to obtain or currently hold a baseline security clearance
You'll be proactive, self-motivated, and confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Strong time management and multitasking skills are essential.
