Grounds Keeper (Full-Time)

Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Keeper to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is perfect for someone passionate about working outdoors in a world-class workplace, supporting the upkeep of a 200-acre farm including approximately 10 acres of manicured grounds and display gardens. You will work under the guidance of a highly experienced and capable Farm Manager, making this a rare opportunity to build your skills in an inspiring, supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, garden beds, walkways and roads through mowing, whipper snipping, pruning, and general garden care.
- Eradicate and manage invasive and noxious weeds to ensure the ongoing health of the landscape.
- Assist with tree farm operations including palm pruning, repotting, plant care, debris clean-up, and composting.
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment such as zero-turn mowers, tractors, and skid steers (training provided as required).
- Support team projects as directed to ensure the overall presentation and function of the farm is maintained.
- Contribute to regenerative agriculture initiatives and sustainable farm practices.
- Follow WHS practices at all times and use all PPE and tools provided by the farm.
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in horticulture, landscaping, regenerative agriculture or permaculture.
- Experience using commercial-grade mowing and landscaping equipment.
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining immaculate grounds.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.
- A team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
