Service Coordinator Job Overview
The Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our HVAC service activities. This includes managing and coordinating service requests, scheduling and dispatching technicians, and communicating with customers to provide updates on service status and issue resolution.
* Schedule and dispatch service technicians to customer sites to perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
* Monitor service requests and prioritize work to meet customer needs and contractual obligations.
* Communicate with customers to provide updates on service status and issue resolution.
* Maintain detailed records of all service activities, parts used, and customer interactions.
* Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure availability of necessary tools, parts, and equipment.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service delivery.
* Provide support and guidance to service technicians as needed.
This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar service coordination role, knowledge of HVAC systems and components, excellent customer service and communication skills, and proficiency in using service management software and other relevant technologies.
