We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Partnerships APAC to lead strategic, integrated marketing communications for our region. This senior role is crucial for positioning IDP's partner services, advancing thought-leadership, and driving stakeholder engagement. You will manage B2B and event marketing strategies, delivering impactful communications and campaigns to engage partners, drive growth, and elevate IDP's presence across APAC.
This is a 6-month fixed term full time opportunity. We would prefer Melbourne or Sydney based candidates but may consider talent based anywhere in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
1. Integrated Marketing & Communications Strategy: Design and deliver integrated communications tailored to diverse audiences across multiple channels. Includes leading the region's event marcomms strategy (including AIEC), regional adaption of product marketing for APAC partners and target audiences, and supporting regional B2B sales of IDP services through impactful marketing, client communication, and product positioning.
2. Financial & Resource Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal outcomes.
3. Thought Leadership & External Relations: Support regional government and stakeholder relations with thought-leadership communications strategy.
4. Stakeholder & Partner Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a program of integrated communications and collateral that best fits a variety of audiences through multiple channels and formats.
Who we are looking for
1. Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in the higher education or international education sector.
2. Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
3. Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
4. B2B Product Marketing: Experience in creating end-to-end advertising and leading effective product marketing to target audiences including building persuasive sales tools such as slide decks, competitive positioning, FAQs.
5. Financial & Budget Management: Ability to manage marketing budgets efficiently.
6. Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Experience working with geographically diverse teams.
7. Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
8. Education Sector Knowledge: Knowledge of the international education sector, networks and policies.
9. Adaptability & Innovation: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, global environment.
10. People management experience and leadership skills.
11. Experience in international student recruitment.
12. Experience in large, global businesses and matrix organizations.
13. Knowledge of the international English testing market and migration policies.
