Role Overview
You'll join the world‐class team at Domain, backed by the global strength and innovative technology of CoStar Group. Your work will involve creating high‐quality architectural photography and video content that supports Australian renters, home‐buyers and commercial real estate professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce interior and exterior media of residential houses, apartments, office, industrial, and retail properties.
* Create engaging videos that showcase standout features of residential and commercial properties.
* Capture Matterport 3D tours of properties.
* Create Gaussian splat views using drones where possible.
* Develop exterior media for suburbs, parks and schools.
* Utilise professional‐grade tools to produce visually appealing media.
* Travel up to a week per month as required.
* Select optimal times and settings for photography.
* Edit all photography and video to deliver completed projects promptly.
* Communicate effectively with clients during all aspects of media shoots.
* Continuously learn and develop craft, staying up to date on new techniques and technology.
* Participate in team meetings, addressing business challenges and opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience as a professional real‐estate photographer or similar.
* Portfolio review of real‐estate and lifestyle media (exterior, interior, drone preferred).
* High School Certificate or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years of professional real‐estate photography and videography experience.
* Full understanding of manual camera settings and lighting.
* Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and proficiency with Mac OS and MS Office.
* Current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) or willingness to obtain within 6 weeks.
Preferred Qualifications
* Enjoy photographing buildings and suburbs, with creative problem‐solving skills.
* Strong relationship‐building skills.
* Flexible, adaptable with excellent multitasking and time management.
* Experience in fast‐paced environments.
* Commercial drone photography experience desirable.
* Ability to capture and edit stunning interior and exterior property videos and photography.
* Understanding of best practices for architectural photography, demonstrating artistic vision.
Physical & Travel Requirements
* Ability to lift and carry up to 12 kg.
* Valid Australian driver's licence and ability to hire a car for work travel.
* Capable of driving up to 2 hours at a time and working outdoors in all seasons.
* Night and weekend work required on a rotating roster.
* Successful driving record check required before starting.
