This role involves working on complex systems engineering projects, using a range of technologies including radio frequencies, wired communications, networking, computing, and software systems. You will be responsible for tasks such as designing, developing, testing, and delivering systems, as well as collaborating with teams to identify and implement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate independently with minimal direction: Perform complex systems engineering work within an integrated workforce, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
* Accountability and decision-making: Organise your workflow and make independent decisions related to your area of responsibility, exercising assigned engineering authorities and technical regulatory delegations.
* Technical expertise and analysis: Apply technical knowledge and experience to research, define issues, and implement corrective actions, assessing technical and design packages, including scoping, planning, reviewing, and providing recommendations.
* Quality and performance focus: Meet best practices for engineering quality, performance, and security, contributing to the allocation of work, priority setting, and development of strategies for small teams.
* Mentorship and collaboration: Provide guidance and mentoring to more junior team members on systems engineering, building productive working relationships with internal stakeholder teams.
