Support Worker Job Opportunity
This role is for individuals who are passionate about providing support and care to clients with spinal cord injuries in their homes. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital part in enabling clients to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting clients with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, and meal preparation
* Providing personal care including toileting, bladder and bowel management
* Performing basic wound care and self-medication
* Facilitating community access including driving to appointments and social activities
Requirements for this role include:
* No prior experience in disability or aged care is required; full training is provided
* A valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
* A smartphone device
* An NDIS Workers Screening Card and Blue Card
* Holding or willing to obtain an NDIS Workers Orientation Module
