About the Opportunity
Austal Ships is a global shipbuilder and ASX-listed company based in Henderson, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the manufacture and installation of vessel systems and components, including piping systems, HVAC ducting, and mechanical equipment.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and competently.
* Adhere to Austal's Safety and Quality standards.
* Maintain housekeeping standards.
* Collect and prepare materials.
* Operate forklifts to deliver, organize, unload, and dispatch parts around workshops.
* Work in confined spaces and perform fire watch duties.
Your Skills and Experience
* Previous experience working in a similar environment.
* Knowledge of hand and power tools.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Certificate II Engineering is highly desirable.
* Hold a Construction safety induction (White Card).
* High risk work licence (Forklift).
