Part-Time Financial Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Part-Time Financial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Australian regulations, and providing valuable insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using MYOB, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Payroll Management: Manage payroll, superannuation, and staff expenses in compliance with Fair Work standards.
* BAS and PAYG Reporting: Oversee BAS, PAYG, and statutory reporting, ensuring all requirements are met.
* Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
* Integration and Reconciliation: Reconcile MYOB with Total Synergy and ensure accurate financial data integration.
* Financial Oversight: Provide financial oversight for Aunties Café food van, including sales tracking and inventory costing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or related field (CPA/CA preferred).
* Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, with strong MYOB expertise.
* Advanced Skills: Advanced skills in MYOB for payroll, reporting, and compliance.
* Familiarity with Australian Regulations: Solid understanding of Australian financial regulations and tax obligations.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
