Assistant Gym Manager – Snap Fitness New Farm

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking flexible hours (12–16 per week), ideally suited for those balancing studies, personal training, or another role in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Membership Growth
* Make outbound sales calls to generate new memberships and retain existing ones.
* Provide in-person gym tours and promote membership benefits.
* Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to attract and engage members.
* Build strong relationships with members and the local community to drive gym growth.
Operations & Facility Management
* Oversee day to day operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
* Assist in scheduling staff, group fitness classes, and personal training sessions.
* Ensure that all equipment is maintained and in top condition.
* Handle member inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional manner.
Leadership & Team Support
* Support the Gym Manager in training and managing staff.
* Foster a positive and motivating work culture.
* Implement best practices from industry trends to improve gym offerings.
Finance & Business Management
* Assist in managing the budget, monitoring expenses, and optimizing revenue.
* Analyze membership sales performance and implement strategies for improvement.
Requirements:
* Cert III or IV in Fitness
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Experience in health & fitness sales and marketing
* Proven sales track record with a results driven mindset
* Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude & excellent communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
