Drive Demand for Sustainable Energy Solutions
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive demand for our energy solutions in Victoria.
As a key member of our team, you will focus on building relationships with key industry players and developing sales strategies to grow our revenue. Your main goals will be to increase demand and retention for our solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, manage sales pipelines to boost revenue, close sales opportunities and provide market insights to support strategic decisions.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and close sales opportunities.
* Build strong business relationships with key decision-makers in the renewable energy and electrical industries.
* Collaborate with internal teams to drive complete solution sales.
* Identify and nurture new business opportunities for our energy solutions.
* Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and professional engagement.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 5+ years of proven sales experience in the Renewable Energy, Electrical Contracting, EPC or Power Control System Integration industry.
* Strategic understanding of demand creation, opportunity management, and market development.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
* High level of computer literacy and ability to work with IT networking and electrical principles.
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or a Nationally Accredited Course.
* Experience in Renewable Energy Sales or as an Electrician.
* Background in the Australian Energy Market Operations is highly desirable.
