Role Description
The Community Support Worker will be responsible for supporting NDIS psychosocial participants by facilitating group activities, assisting with daily living tasks, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment. The role involves collaborating with participants to encourage social interactions, developing positive coping strategies, and promoting personal growth. This is a contract, on-site position based in Adelaide, SA.
Qualifications
* Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to engage with participants and build trusting relationships
* Experience in Community Support and Community Health to assist individuals with their psychosocial needs and well-being
* Proficiency in Case Management to assess and monitor participant needs and progress effectively
* Empathy, patience, passion and a fun and positive attitude when working with diverse populations
* Relevant training or qualifications in social work, community services, mental health, or related fields
* Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a plus
* Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
