About the Role
We are seeking skilled and reliable individuals to support local council maintenance programs.
Work may include:
Parkland and reserve maintenance
Turf care and sports field preparation
Playground upkeep
Landscaping and horticultural duties
Tree and arborist work (role-dependent)
Use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery
Operation of ride-on mowers and other equipment
Chemical application (highly regarded)
What We're Looking For
? Experience in gardening, landscaping, arboriculture, or horticulture
? Strong understanding of safe work practices
? Confidence using hand tools, equipment, and machinery
? Ability to work independently and in teams
? Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
Highly Regarded
Chemical handling knowledge and experience
Certificates in Gardening or Horticulture (role-dependent)
Traffic Control tickets (role-dependent)
Mandatory Requirements
A valid Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
A Working With Children Check
A MR driver's license (role dependent)
