NET Engineer to join a growing Melbourne team working on a brand-new platform and backend architecture.
This is a role for someone who enjoys solving real engineering problems, designing clean backend systems, and working across a modern cloud stack.

What You'll Be Working On
Designing and building new backend services and APIs in modern C# / .
NET
Developing processing logic, automation workflows, and validation rules that sit behind a new platform
Working with SQL Server to build, improve, and optimise data models
Creating tooling that handles real-world datasets and ensures data quality
Contributing to system design, architecture discussions, and technical decisions
Building reliable, scalable components in a modern AWS-hosted environment
Tech Environment
You don't need to know everything, but experience with the following will help:
C#, .
NET 6/7/8, Web API
SQL Server (procedures, modelling, performance tuning)
AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, Step Functions, or general AWS experience)
Angular (bonus points if you've worked in full-stack or front-end integration scenarios)
Experience with file processing, data transformation, or backend automation is beneficial but not essential
About You
We're looking for someone who's strong on the backend and comfortable working on data-heavy backend logic as part of a broader engineering role.
You'll do well here if you have:
5+ years of commercial experience
Strong modern .
NET skills (Core / 6+)
Good SQL experience
Experience building backend services, APIs, or data workflows
Interest in AWS or cloud engineering
Ability to work independently and contribute to a small, high-performing team
Angular or full-stack exposure (nice to have, not required)
Experience with migrations, ETL patterns, or CSV/flat-file processing or similar is preferred, but if you're a strong backend engineer with good problem-solving skills, you might be able to pick it up quickly.
