The Opportunity
BlueScope Building Components is looking for an experienced Purlin Mill Operator to join the Fielders and Lysaght operations team based in Novar Gardens SA. Manufacturing steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
The operations team work a 24 hr 5 day Monday to Friday roster. Operating roll forming machinery to create quality Australian made building solutions for our customers. Our commitment is to safety and quality for our customers and our team members. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our Team Member role allowing for future career development opportunities.
You will receive ongoing training and development, giving you the opportunity to progress. We offer competitive remuneration and benefits. In addition, you will be eligible to receive performance bonuses paid quarterly.

What will you do?
* Operating Purlin Mill equipment
* Servicing customers that attend site while ensuring customer waiting time is kept to a minimum

* Has demonstrated experience operating Purlin Mill machinery
* Has good communication skills
* Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
* Has a forklift license or ability to drive a forklift (desirable but not required)
