We invest in and empower our people to stand up for what they believe in and move forward fearlessly.About the RoleAs a Data Migration Lead, you will oversee the migration of data for our case management platform, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to cloud applications that will enhance our operations and shape the future of Maurice Blackburn.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a team of data specialists and analysts to design, execute, and validate data migration processes.Address data quality issues in legacy systems, define cleansing strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve data integrity.Work closely with business and technical teams to understand migration requirements and processes.Manage data mapping, transformation rules, and ETL strategies, collaborating with internal and external technical resources.Oversee data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.Guide post-migration support and ensure business acceptance criteria are met.Foster a collaborative team environment, manage project interdependencies, and mitigate risks to ensure minimal disruption.Report progress and issues to stakeholders and the Steering Committee, aligning with project timelines and goals.Required ExperienceDeep knowledge of data migration methodologies, ETL, data governance, and Agile practices.Significant experience as a Project Manager or Senior Business/Technical Analyst in digital transformation projects involving large-scale data migration to cloud systems.Proven ability to assess and improve data quality for seamless migration outcomes.Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with meticulous attention to detail.Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.BenefitsCareer development and coaching opportunities.22 weeks parental leave with superannuation and transition support.Generous leave entitlements, mental health support, and flexible working arrangements.Salary continuance, life insurance, and additional benefits.Our values—Courage, Compassion, Collaboration, Fairness, and Tenacity—guide our actions.
