Our client is seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager with a proven background in delivering user‐facing digital applications and platforms. This role will oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of whole‐of‐government digital platform and application initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and governance frameworks. About the Role
As the Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for end‐to‐end project delivery across shared digital services and platforms. You will work closely with technical teams, vendors and government agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards, while meeting changing demands and priorities.
Key Objectives
* Successfully deliver shared digital services and platforms in line with evolving priorities.
* Ensure projects meet time, cost and quality constraints.
* Maintain compliance with WA Government digital governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end‐to‐end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
* Manage interdependencies and integrations across digital services, systems and agencies.
* Coordinate technical teams, vendors and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
* Develop detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocation strategies.
* Maintain risk registers, implement mitigation strategies and escalate issues as required.
* Prepare status reports, maintain RAID logs and ensure governance compliance.
* Actively participate in meetings, workshops and reviews to drive progress and decision‐making.
Skills and Experience
* Strong project management experience delivering shared digital services and platforms.
* Technical digital experience with a practical understanding of system integrations.
* Experience managing application implementations, including deployment, testing, integration and transition to business‐as‐usual.
* Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) highly regarded.
