Job Description
The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the CEO and the leadership team to identify and implement highly effective marketing, communications and member engagement services across the Club. Some broad responsibilities include:
* Drive Club Sapphire's marketing strategy
* Ensure effective implementation of agreed strategies and actions
* Drive the Club's product offering to broaden and strengthen the Club's patronage
* Manage external relationships with marketing and related service providers
* Evaluate the effectiveness and cost benefit of marketing and related activities
* Monitor competitor marketing and communications
The Marketing role is circa 15 hpw, either part-time, casual or by way of a salaried contract. Additional hours can potentially be made available in other areas of the Club, but at a reduced rate appropriate to the role occupied.
Desired Skills and Experience
A sound level of contemporary marketing strategies and tactics
Previous experience in the hospitality or related sectors
High level of availability flexibility in order to take advantage of ad hoc marketing opportunities
Personable manner and a team-based approach, including the capacity to take on others' views
