Electrical Supervisor - Brownfield Maintenance

About the Role

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will provide frontline leadership, work management, and personnel supervision, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity through effective planning and execution of maintenance activities. Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent and Site Manager, you will be at the heart of empowering teams, fostering a strong safety culture, and driving operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage work teams adhering to management systems, standards, and processes.
* Drive safety, HSE compliance, and quality outcomes across all employees and work scopes.
* Conduct pre‑start meetings, formal site audits, toolbox sessions, and random inspections.
* Ensure compliance with policies, risk assessments, safe work systems, and statutory requirements.
* Oversee site planning, materials, stock levels, and subcontractor activities to ensure smooth operations.
* Monitor project scope variations and maintain budgets while escalating risks as required.
* Promote and maintain good housekeeping and operational practices.
* Provide training, supervision, and competency assessments for employees under your charge.
* Lead with influence and support a multi‑cultural workforce in a heavy industrial environment.


About You

You are a seasoned supervisor with extensive experience in brownfield maintenance and site operations. Organised, dependable, and adaptable to dynamic situations, you excel at coordinating teams and managing multiple priorities with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.


What You'll Bring

* 5+ years of site supervision experience and relevant qualifications in site supervision.
* Sound knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and processes in electrical and brownfield maintenance.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams in industrial/mining environments.
* Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
* Previous experience in the mining sector is highly desirable.
* LVR and CPR course valid in 12 months.
* Valid Electrical License.
