Maintenance Planner Scheduler – Alice Springs, NT, Australia

We are looking for a full‐time Maintenance Planner Scheduler to develop and monitor work schedules, coordinate permits and access authorizations, and ensure effective resource utilization.
Responsibilities
* Plan work activities using the site computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
* Determine and monitor resource capacities to enable the development of detailed schedules for planned and reactive maintenance activities
* Prepare documentation required to access systems and equipment requiring maintenance
* Analyze metric data for potential efficiencies and improvements
* Collaborate efficiently and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals
* Maintain CMMS data accurately and consistently
* Adapt approach to complete planning and scheduling objectives flexibly
* Assist in maintaining and creating SAP PM Plans, task lists, and strategies
* Promote and maintain health and safety practices and compliance on site
* Perform any other reasonable duties as requested
Qualifications
* Experience in planning and scheduling roles
* Demonstrated experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications
* High level verbal and written communication skills
Desirable
* Certificate IV in Business Administration
* Certificate in Planning and Scheduling activities
* Trade qualification
Candidate Requirements
* At least 18 years of age
* Fluently read, write and speak English
* Australian or U.S. citizen, able to obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance
Work Environment and Physical Demands
* Typical office environment; occasional lifting up to 10 kg, kneeling, standing, walking, sitting, constant use of speech/hearing, constant mental alertness, and ability to work under deadlines.

* Complete work tasks safely
* Report any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor and/or PMO/EHS Manager
* Adhere continuously to environmental, health and safety procedures
* Follow the Red‐Carding a Job procedure – the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions exist
