**Headline:** Senior Mental Health Clinician Role in Remote Area
The Senior Mental Health Clinician will provide mental health assessment and therapeutic support to young people between the ages of 12-25 presenting with a broad range of issues relating to mental health, alcohol and substance use, identity, relationships, domestic violence, and trauma.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to work as part of a remote headspace service in Yulara. The role involves delivering services across the headspace service, in the community and school-based settings, with remote travel to other communities required.

About the Role:
The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for assessing and supporting young people's mental health needs. This requires strong clinical skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Bachelor or higher degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or a related field
* Experience: At least 2 years' experience working in mental health
* Clinical skills: Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with the ability to work effectively with young people and families
* Cultural awareness: Ability to work effectively with Aboriginal people and understand the importance of cultural responsiveness
