About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Professional to lead our Work Health & Safety function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will develop and implement WHS strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and foster a safe workplace culture across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain WHS management systems and policies.
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
* Deliver training and promote safety awareness across the organisation.
* Manage injury and return-to-work programs in line with legislation.
* Provide strategic WHS advice to senior leadership and stakeholders.
About You
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar WHS leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with communities.
* Current Ochre Card (or ability to obtain) and driver's licence.
* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (desirable).
