Volvo Group Australia, a leading provider of automotive and industrial solutions, is looking for an Auto‐Electrician to support customers at our Newcastle dealership. The role is part of Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) and plays a key part in keeping Australia moving.
What You Will Do
* Electrical fault finding and general diagnostics
* Electrical assembly and installation
* Preventative maintenance services and electrical repairs
* Assisting with off‐site and breakdown repairs
* Carrying out all repairs in accordance with Volvo specifications
Future Team
You will join a close‐knit dealership team in Beresfield, reporting to the Workshop Supervisor and working alongside Mechanics, Auto‐Electricians, Trades Assistants, Apprentices, Parts Interpreters, Service Advisors and Costing Clerks. This role is a day‐shift position, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Qualifications
* An auto‐electrical qualification
* A NSW trade licence
* Proven experience working as a qualified Auto‐Electrician in a heavy commercial environment
* Some exposure to light mechanical work
* A pro‐active attitude with a drive to work efficiently
* A positive safety attitude with a team‐focused mindset
