Helensvale State School is looking for a dynamic school leader to join our team. The Deputy Principal – Special Education Services role has been developed to cater for our growing population of diverse learners. Our team is dedicated to creating an environment that is supportive, inclusive and ensures that all children feel a strong sense of belonging.
Responsibilities Include
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community through the school special education program (SEP) to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values‑based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
