Our group oversees the management of public transport services, encompassing various branches such as Commercial and Contract Services, Engineering and Asset Management Strategy, Network Services, and Transport Operations. These departments collaborate to maintain an efficient transportation system in our city.
We manage bus contracts with personalized public transport operators, enabling us to support the transport choices of Brisbane residents and visitors.
The Role
This role plays a critical part in identifying operational risks and their associated treatments. You will analyze performance data to identify trends and then audit internal controls to evaluate the effectiveness of our people, processes, systems, assets, and provide professional advice on risk management actions to strengthen our organization.
You will be a valued partner engaging with all levels of our organization and various teams across different sectors.
About You
* You should have strong analytical skills and considerable experience in summarizing complex material, identifying opportunities, and developing recommendations.
* You should have considerable expertise in utilizing best practice compliance and performance management in an asset-intensive environment.
* You should possess strong verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* You should have strong practical problem-solving skills rooted in the use of information management (e.g., databases and business intelligence tools).
Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role are desirable; however, candidates with equivalent experience are highly encouraged to apply.
