Team Manager or Senior looking to take the step up to help lead the VIC Environmental Planning team for a National Australian consultancy.
The current Planning Manager has been promoted to VIC GM, with huge vision from the CEO to supercharge the team with more Planning capability as the current team of 6 is not able to meet demand of projects coming through.
The Team
The Environmental Planning and Approvals team here run as Project Managers on all jobs in VIC
* Drawing in the expert team of Ecologist, Archaeologists and Bushfire experts (now at 80 in VIC) they deliver a range of environmentally complex projects than need planning permits, environmental management plans, approvals and post conditions, both local and EPBC referrals.
* This team of Planners / Ecologists with a very strong reputation in the Australian Environmental, Ecology and Heritage market.
Projects
* Not competing in the EES space, rather strategically picking up the rest which is proving lucrative and buoyant.
* Projects for likes of Dept of Transport, Development VIC, Alpine Resorts, Urbis, Stocklands, MAB.
* Work comes from a mix of internal and external referrers (circa 50 / 50 mix).
* 50 / 50 internal vs external clients
Responsibilities & Metrics
Your metrics are 40% chargeable, 60% running the team and building business with the GM and CEO (Not a massive expectation to bring work, just liaise with clients and manage what's coming through).
Compensation
$130,000 – $150,000 + super range, so looking for a Senior with 7+ yrs to step up into a role that exists due to promotion.
