Position Details
1. Participates in developing and implementing assurance processes.
2. Collects, catalogues, and stores relevant performance data and undertake analysis of it, including drafting of performance and investigation reports, and associated correspondence.
3. Supports the monitoring and investigation of the non-financial performance of Triple Zero Victoria (VIC). This includes monitoring the implementation of reforms associated with recent major reviews.
4. Contributes to all of the Performance Monitoring team's activities including administrative support for meetings such as drafting agendas and taking minutes.
5. Ongoing, full-time VPS4 opportunity.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager Performance Monitoring, the Performance Monitoring Officer participates in developing and implementing assurance processes to support continuous, effective, and sustainable improvement in Victoria's emergency management sector. The Performance Monitoring Officer will contribute to a range of IGEM assurance activities, with a particular focus outlined in the key accountabilities.
Please be aware that this role may expose you to traumatic events, but in a supported environment with appropriate mental health support processes and training.
About You:
This role is ideal for someone with:
6. Experience in conducting performance monitoring, evaluations, and reviews
7. Research, analysis, and investigative skills
8. A working knowledge of risk management principles
9. Demonstrated ability to use and maintain information systems
10. Knowledge and understanding of the emergency management sector would be an advantage, specifically, emergency services telecommunications
11. Ability to apply risk management principles to determine most effective assurance activities
12. A willingness to provide administrative support to the team as required.
