About Our Client
Our client is a trusted fire protection provider with over 30 years of experience, delivering end-to-end solutions including design, installation, and maintenance of fire systems. They prioritise safety, compliance, and responsive service across Australia within the Mining and Heavy Industry.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be working within a Mining Services Division, carrying out maintenance and servicing of fire protection systems across mining infrastructure. This role requires strong experience in heavy industry or mining environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Maintenance and servicing of fire protection systems
* Working on Fire Indicator Panels (FIP)
* Supporting fire system compliance in switch rooms and CHPP environment
* Inspecting and maintaining all fire‑related infrastructure across site
* Conducting fault finding and ensuring systems meet safety standards
* Working collaboratively with site teams to ensure operational compliance
What You Will Need
* Proven experience as a Fire Electrician within mining or heavy industry
* Strong background in servicing fire systems (not just commercial experience)
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Ability to work 7/7 roster, 11‑hour shifts
* Strong commitment to safety and compliance standards
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
What You Will Need
* Proven experience as a Fire Electrician within mining or heavy industry
* Strong background in servicing fire systems (not just commercial experience)
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Current Electrical Trade
* Ability to work 7/7 roster, 11‑hour shifts
* Strong commitment to safety and compliance standards
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
