About the Role We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented care to people across all life stages. In this rewarding role, you will complete comprehensive mental health assessments, develop and deliver meaningful treatment plans, and support consumers to connect with the right community and specialist services at the right time. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing service flow and demand to ensure timely access to care while meeting Statement of Priority targets. Working closely with consumers, families and carers, you'll also build strong partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders including emergency departments, police, ambulance services, GPs, child protection and community agencies. A key part of the role is providing expert advice, education and liaison around acute mental illness, suicide risk, self-harm, substance use and other complex presentations — always practising in line with recovery-focused principles that value individual choice, dignity and personal strengths. This position is a part time (0.6 EFT) ongoing position, based at Monash Medical Centre in Clayton. It is open to Grade 2 Social Workers & Occupational Therapists, and Grade 3 Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs).
