We are seeking a reliable, principled and self-motivated individual to join our free range poultry farm in the Mt Barker region.

About the Role
ANZSCO: 121321
Reporting to the Southern Operations Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for day to day farming activities and requires a high level of responsibility including:
* Monitoring and reporting on KPI's and other metrics as directed and required
* Leading, training and motivating farm workers to achieve quality outcomes in a professional and commercial environment
* Being committed and actively creating an environment that drives continuous improvement in animal welfare, quality, productivity and environmental awareness
* Adhering to relevant legislation and Group policies, principles and procedures
* Collaborating with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities and working with them to create a safe workplace
* Championing animal welfare in everything you do
What We Need from You
* Having worked in the field of poultry livestock, you will have a track record in delivering results and reporting against key performance indicators
* A minimum of 1-2 years experience in poultry livestock operations
* Experience with free-range poultry systems is preferred but not essential
* Experience in working autonomously in an unsupervised environment
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail
* A passion for teamwork to achieve our commercial and ethical goals and deliver profitable outcomes
