Job Title: Clinical Trainee
Overview: We are seeking experienced clinical trainees to join our team in various locations across Australia. As a Clinical Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in emergency medicine while working under senior supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and manage emergency department presentations under supervision.
* Develop and implement plans for patient care, prioritizing clinical decisions and communicating effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Lead by example, supporting junior staff and actively participating in departmental teaching to further clinical knowledge and skills.
* Engage in self-directed learning, reflective practice, and participate in ongoing education and training programs.
Requirements:
* Be capable of independent practice with senior supervision in Private EDs across metropolitan, regional, and rural Australia.
* Have a strong commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
Benefits:
* Full-time temporary 12-month training program starting on a specified date, with a 3-year contract aligned with the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement.
* Includes placement support within SA Health for the remainder of the contract at a large accredited teaching hospital offering rotations in Clinical Toxicology and Emergency Medicine.
* Remuneration packages may include salary MDP-2 or flexible contracts from 6 months to 2 years with opportunities to consolidate and expand clinical and procedural skills in well-supervised environments.
Locations: Townsville (QLD), Gold Coast (Benowa), Adelaide (SA), Melbourne (VIC), and Sydney (NSW).
