Critical Care Outreach Team Service Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to $10,000 (conditions apply, may be pro-rata based on contracted hours). Payments are made fortnightly under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognizes the key role of health workers in delivering rural and remote health services, offering incentives beyond award entitlements to attract and retain staff in these areas.

About the Opportunity
* Senior clinical role within the Critical Care Outreach Team, promoting diversity and patient-centered care.
* Provide expert knowledge in the detection, management, and evaluation of critically ill patients in general wards and critical care areas.
* Lead clinical audits and reviews to inform practice improvements.
* Utilize critical thinking and patient assessment skills in collaboration with medical and nursing teams.

How to Apply

* Current AHPRA registration
* Minimum three years postgraduate experience in adult critical care, with relevant tertiary qualification or working towards it
* Ability to work effectively in a team and foster a positive workplace culture
* Knowledge of critical care nursing practices and patient deterioration management
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
* Experience in implementing clinical changes and developing policies
* Ability to develop and evaluate clinical education and procedures
* Current Adult Advanced Life Support certificate
