Capital Pathology is a Canberra based company committed to providing unsurpassed pathology services to doctors and the local community. We have a position available for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to work as part of our dedicated team providing quality customer service.
A position is available for a customer-focussed person to join our dedicated Doctors’ Services Centre. This role would suit an individual who has a passion for delivering high quality services to the medical community of the ACT and surrounding regions.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Answering phone enquiries from clients;
- Ensuring pathology results are provided in a timely manner;
- Troubleshooting customer issues;
- Providing support to other departments in clinical administration duties;
- Coordinating nursing home and domiciliary pathology collections;
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to provide continuous improvement.
The department hours are 7am to 6pm Mon-Fri, and 8:30am to 2:30pm on Saturdays. The successful applicant must adhere to and promote our Core Values at all times. A professional telephone manner and efficient computer skills are essential for this role. Previous medical experience or background would also be advantageous.
Pay rate is between $27.50 and $29.18 dependent on experience.
