Insurance Broker | SME–Corporate Portfolio | Sydney | Full Time Join a growing insurance brokerage managing a diverse portfolio across SME, mid-market, and corporate commercial clients . We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to take ownership of an established portfolio and play a key role in both client retention and new business growth . This is a hands-on role with strong client exposure and real autonomy across the broking lifecycle. You’ll work closely with clients and insurers to deliver tailored general insurance solutions across a wide range of industries, while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team. What You’ll Be Doing Manage a portfolio of SME to corporate commercial insurance clients Build and grow client relationships through proactive service and advice Prepare and present insurance quotes, submissions, and renewal reports Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive outcomes for clients Manage renewals, endorsements, and ongoing policy adjustments Identify new business opportunities within existing and prospective clients Support clients through claims in coordination with internal teams Maintain accurate client and policy records across systems Assist with invoicing and basic debtor management About You You are a confident Insurance Broker who enjoys managing relationships and delivering solutions, not just processing policies. You will bring: Experience in general insurance broking or underwriting (essential) Strong knowledge of SME and/or commercial insurance RG146 compliance or equivalent technical capability Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage a busy portfolio and prioritise effectively High attention to detail and strong ownership of your work Comfortable working with clients, insurers, and internal teams Tier 1 qualification or equivalent compliance requirement.
