In this role you will ensure the completion of operational tasks are in accordance with safety and environmental standards, customer expectations and targets as well as completing maintenance tasks with various plant and equipment.What\'s on offerPermanent Full Time Opportunity, with overtime availableFlexible Spread of Hours between 8:00am - 5:00pmCompetitive WagesLeadership GrowthWhat you\'ll be responsible forLead and ensure secure, continuous operation of the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in accordance with VAMS maintenance scheduling and VES Policies and Procedures.Perform scheduled plant inspections, preventative cleaning, equipment adjustments, and parts replacement while maintaining optimal spare parts inventory.Manage procurement processes and supplier relationships in line with corporate governance, ensuring resources are available when needed.Monitor and lead team performance, including contractors, providing constructive feedback and supporting team members in fulfilling their responsibilities.Maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders while proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact team safety, effectiveness, or profitability.Complete administrative tasks and assist in operational management of the facility, ensuring all maintenance activities meet quality and safety standards.What you\'ll need to be successfulDemonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally in maintaining process plant and/or mechanical equipmentOperational leadership experienceExperience with plant maintenance systemsExperience with Google Suite or similarMechanical certification (desirable)Forklift License (desirable)C Class LicenseVeolia\'s AlwaysSafe culture means that we care about the safety of people on our sites.
