This service provides assessment, treatment, care, and support to individuals experiencing mental illness or distress.
About the Role
This position requires a skilled mental health nurse with current registration as a Registered Nurse and a postgraduate diploma in Mental Health Nursing. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in providing specialist mental health nursing assessment and therapeutic intervention.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality mental health nursing care to clients accessing the GSSM Local service.
* Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver recovery-oriented care and achieve positive outcomes for clients.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment screening checks, including working with children's checks, national disability insurance scheme worker screening, and international and national police checks.
