What you'll be doing
Join the Department of Renal Medicine as a Secretarial & Administrative Officer. Provide efficient administrative support, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
o Answering departmental phone calls and taking messages
o Managing patient appointments and records
o Handling billing and claims processing
o Organising meetings and seminars
o Supporting staff with general administrative tasks

Selection Criteria:
o Demonstrated experience or qualification in medical terminology.
o Demonstrated experience in providing secretarial and administrative support.
o Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills.
o Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
o Proven high level organisational skills including the ability to problem solve, prioritise workload, multi-task and meet deadlines.
o Demonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidentiality, and knowing when to escalate matters of importance and/or urgency.
o Demonstrated experience in using iPM, HPE document tracking system, Oracle and the LHD billing applications. Demonstrated experience also in word processing, desktop publishing and database/spreadsheet software, including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
o Demonstrated experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams preferably within a health setting.
