About The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team with experience in mechanical engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the technical and engineering aspects of fire protection projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects
Manage equipment and material costs, including tendering and supplier quotes
Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide updates
Assign tasks and mentor project team members
Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
Ensure all project documentation is complete and current
Help control project costs and identify variation opportunities
Review and ensure compliance with project contracts
Assess engineering deliverables and implement corrective actions
Coordinate across multiple disciplines to meet project needs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or a related role
Experience in Fire Protection is desirable
Strong project management skills, including developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with project management software such as Procore, AutoCAD, and MS Office
