Reporting directly to the Divisional Managing Director and overseeing three Business Units, this critical role will be responsible for the national sales strategy and driving portfolio growth through a large team of Technical Sales Engineers and Business Unit Managers
**About the role**:
You will be responsible for directly managing and growing relationships within Industrial Contractors, End Users, and OEM's. This challenging and rewarding role will see you be part of their strategic National Team who focus on developing and generating business revenue streams across ANZ.
An integral part of this role is managing, mentoring and coaching the team, as this person will be responsible for national performance and developing the individual team capabilities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies, with the emphasis on products and solution selling.
- Manage, mentor and coach the state team, improving overall performance while promoting a high-performance culture.
- Support and promote a positive team workplace and behaviours in line with company core values.
- Build deep strategic relationships at multiple levels within the large client portfolios.
- Identify new areas to maximize profits.
**To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate**:
- A high degree of commercial acumen. (i.e. excellent communication skills, businesses development, contract negotiation, and marketing skills)
- A proven ability to drive performance and growth in a technical solution-based sales environment.
- +5 years in similar position selling industrial products to end users in markets such as, Industrial, Mining, Food Manufacturing, Engineering, Distributors and SME organisations.
- Previous experience in the pneumatics, electrical, automation, process control and / or electronics industrieswould be a considerable advantage.
