About the role:
We are expanding our operations across NSW and are looking for full-time Bench Hand/Installation technicians in Singleton, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSW.
We are looking for highly motivated personnel to grow our current teams. Rosters and locations are varied, with full-time site positions available.
We are looking for both experienced blast crew personnel and as well as potential trainees and welcome anyone looking to start a career in the mining sector of blasting. All BLASTSHIELD product training will be provided to the successful candidate(s)
What you will be doing:
* As a Blastshield Installation technician, you will manage the installation of the BLASTSHIELD Protection system, ensuring it is correctly installed and fitted to a high standard.
* You will also be engaging with customers and providing advice on how and where BLASTSHIELD can be utilised further on-site.
* Assisting in general blast crew duties to support our clients' operations.
* Assisting throughout the process to help clients maximise every opportunity to achieve the ultimate blasting result.

* Current Australian Driver's License
* S11 SOA (NSW)
* Coal board medical (optional)
* An impeccable safety record and commitment towards safety
* A positive attitude to customer service

* Support shotfirer or shot firing license (preferred)
