Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join our team as a senior lecturer in physiotherapy. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of physiotherapy education and research.
As a senior lecturer, you will be responsible for leading engaging teaching across undergraduate programs, coordinating courses, and supervising students. You will also contribute to the development of an innovative, industry-informed curriculum that prepares students for practice.
Additionally, you will build and maintain strong clinical partnerships to support work-integrated learning and ensure students are well-prepared for their careers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Unrestricted current registration to practice physiotherapy in Australia
* A minimum of 5 years of full-time clinical experience as a physiotherapist and musculoskeletal, sports and orthopaedics expertise (or part time equivalent)
* Completion or near-completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing
* Evidence of research experience, including refereed publications, participation in research teams, and co-supervision of candidates for honours and higher degrees by research
* Membership of and sound connections with relevant professional bodies and community groups and/or in professional practice
* Evidence of participation in relevant academic and professional development activities and the desire to continue to learn and improve as an effective academic and physiotherapy clinician
* Experience undertaking academic leadership roles and administration functions (e.g. course coordination) within a university
